CELEBRATION 6.17.18 | create

Every so often, my husband and I rearrange furniture. There is something refreshing about moving some pieces around. Inevitably the house feels cozier or crisper as a result of our redesign. This winter, we decided to repaint our bedroom before rearranging furniture. Since then, the walls have been bare. Prior to painting, we had the same photographs from a trip we took to Maine decorating the room for the past nine years. Although that trip still means a lot to me and impacted the person I am, I was ready for something new.  When I took an online mixed media painting course with Kellie Rae Roberts, she told us to paint the mantra our heart needed to hear.  That is what I wanted on our walls--the mantras our hearts needed to hear. So, I found a company that would allow me to custom design wall art. I created these pieces with lyrics from our wedding song to hang above our nightstands.
